Leonard M. Waln, was inducted into the Hall of Fame posthumously. His administrative contributions to the CGSTA were recognized.

Mr. Waln served as CGSTA secretary from 1979 through 1981 and also filled in as treasurer during a part of that time when the treasurer had resigned. As a state director/officer from 1976-1982, he worked on several committees, including the state shoot program, state team, business, Hall of Fame, trophy and executive committees.

In 1980, he received the President's Plaque for 'Director of the Year'. He never missed a state shoot and worked handicapping, selling memberships, imprinting cards or just filling in wherever needed.

At the 1982 California State Shoot, Mr. Waln won the veteran's trophy in the handicap championship.

Leonard Waln was inducted in to the California Trapshooting Hall of Fame in 1984.
